Since 1977, the Stiftung Arp e.V. has overseen the greater part of the artistic legacies of the Franco-German sculptor Hans Arp and his first wife, the Swiss artist Sophie Taeuber-Arp. In addition, the foundation manages both artists' copyrights. Its primary purpose is to make the work of Arp and Taeuber-Arp accessible to a wide international audience through the support of academic research, exhibitions and publications.
